Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Domus Dental Clinic, Rruga e Kavajës, Tirana, Albania ("Domus Dental", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us through the details on our Contact page or on WhatsApp at +355 69 207 1790.
2. What data we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, country, the treatment you are interested in, your message, and your consent. We also record the language of the site and the page you sent the form from.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to send us, which may include photos, X-rays and information about your dental health.
- Website usage: anonymous technical and usage information (such as pages viewed, device and approximate location) collected through Google tags, and a small amount of data stored in your browser (see section 7).
Photos, X-rays and information about your teeth and health are health data, which is a special category of personal data. We only process it with your explicit consent, which you give when you send it to us.
3. Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or treatment plan (necessary to take steps at your request, and based on your consent).
- To arrange appointments, treatment and aftercare if you become a patient.
- To keep our website secure and prevent spam (our legitimate interest).
- To measure how our website and advertising perform (your consent, where required).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Who we share it with
We only share data with service providers who help us run the website and handle enquiries, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Neon (database) and Render (server hosting): store the enquiries you submit through the form.
- Web3Forms: sends us an email notification when you submit the form.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Google: website measurement and advertising (Google tag).
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you contact us by WhatsApp, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers above process data outside Albania and outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by those providers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to answer you and, if you become a patient, to provide and document your care as required by law. If you do not become a patient, we delete your enquiry when it is no longer needed, or earlier if you ask us to.
7. Cookies and browser storage
Our website stores your language choice and whether you dismissed the announcement bar in your browser's local storage. The Google tag may set cookies to measure visits and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place). To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1 and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Albania this is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idp.al). If you live in the EU or UK, you can also contact your local authority.
9. Security
Data sent through our website is encrypted in transit, stored in a managed database, and accessible only to authorised clinic staff through a password-protected dashboard. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information you are not comfortable sharing.
10. Children
Our website is intended for adults. If you submit information about a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
